Pretty sure the uni bind set off the cascade of events. New D44 has RCV’s no binding there!

I was looking at when I did some things & realised it has been several years since I installed my custom cabin air filter in my '08. So I thought I should check it...

Hmmm...

Actually, that's the back of the filter media. This is the top.

So, yeah. New filter media installed.

Default What have you done to your JK this week? 1M Views

Added a few mods to the Rubi before a recent trip.

Made a bike carrier to hang of the aev carrier. Added some storage tubs and the front runner water tank.

Made a slide for a 1200mm camp table to mount under my roof rack.

Tube on the side of the rack to store our camp stretchers.

Installed new flexicoils, trackbar, ACOS adjustable spring mounts to the rear to level the jk out and Relo bracket. Next up will be metalcloak arms and shocks - looking at the falcon series 3 bypass shocks but not decided.

Also finished organizing the rear storage.

Installed an aev rear diff slide.

Remounted my phone holder to the upper windshield and put in some usb sockets plus a flush mount socket for the uhf.

Put in a footwell 40 lt water tank that is mounted to some l brackets on the seat post for the rear bench. Will add some pics of this later.

Great work! The only thing I can add would be putting the table in with the legs up, just in case the drop out of their clip while driving. But if they are like the ones I have seen, the clips should be strong enough to keep them secure.

I just received a Seicane 7.1" Android head unit. Custom JK fit, so no extra cables or trim kit required.

So far, so good. Lots more functionality than the OEM '08 stock system, but you lose front/rear fading when linked to the Infinity amp. If I install an aftermarket one, then I can get full fade function.

edit: It seems that the wiring in the JK only has left/right channels. The amp then does the fading & drives the sub from them. To control the amp fully you need the right magic codes to send along the CANBUS, & the head units don't seem to be able to do that.

I will add some pics of the carrier itself over the weekend once the rain stops. It’s not super impressive as is essentially just a tube with some fork mount bike holders.
I plan to make another mount that attaches to the spare to hold the frames as at the moment they are just held in place by straps.

Thanks banshee, I actually wanted to mount it like you mentioned but the table has a locking pin that prevents it from sliding in upside down.

I used some Velcro strap to hold the legs but will be adding something better soon as the legs did tend to contact the roof on a few occasions. Nothing serious but i did hear it on some of the heavier roads.
