Thanks for the advice guys...

More things to ponder about.

I am actually thinking of getting the Suburban Stage Two Lift. But the wife is saying otherwise.

Maybe start her off on the Stage One Lift and then see how the wife likes it.

Here is some info that may help.

The stock height of a XJ is 17.5" from the center of the hubcap to the bottom of the fender flare for the front and 17" for the rear.

If your Jeep is less it has sagged :( , greater it has been lifted. :D

Those hieghts are for the Ozzie Limited only as all Sports come with up-coutry suspension which was supposed to be one inch higher all round.

What ever you do - keep well away from the Polyair or Firestone airbag option.
From experience the Firestone will lift your Jeep OK for towing, but get off-road and they will loose air very quickly and your lift is gone.

For sale - set of slightly used Firestone Air Bags suit Grand Cherokee...

The seal to the airbag is prone to pulling out in extreme conditions/flex and will loose air. The air lines need to be more flexible...

jimmy, yes any extended shackle is illegal to run technically espessially a revolver, but we know that already rite. thats why we only sell then and let the customer fit them to his off road racer.

doc, ross, XJ poly airs are a disaster on anything that goes off road and runs stock off set rims, the left hand side one that you put the four self tapping bolts into a sheet metal wall tear away, the tyre once it has 10mm of mud on it will touch the bag and presto! no poly air.

internal coil ones arnt bad, just the leaf XJ set up is not acceptable.

& marcus, sounds like you arnt you going to the jamboree?
