Default Time to upgrade
Well... its time to upgrade from the JKU to JLU.


Please delete if not allowed.


Hoping for some advice on how much to ask.


2012 JKU. Hardtop/Soft top. 55,000km
Factory Mopar 2" Lift
Upgraded Factory Satnav Package
Tow Package
ARB Front Bar
ARB Rear Bar and Tire Carrier
ARB Rock Rails
Long Ranger Second Tank
Light bar etc
Many other extras



Thinking. But after some confirmation or advice.


Maybe around $25k-$30 Trade in.
And around $30-$35 private.,



Does this sound about right.

I guess it depends on how quickly you want to sell, how easily people can come see your Jeep etc. I know I looked for about 6 months for another Jeep that was right for me. There are quite a few coming up for sale every day it seems so the market is for the buyer. You can put it up for private and see what a dealer will give in trade in the meantime. If you get tired of waiting then trade it in. I know selling my old subaru was a bit of a pain in the rear with RWC and Rego etc.

You think you would get that much for a trade in? Seems more of a retail price

Trade price on a 2012 auto 3.6 sport 4D is around $20k, wholesale around $17k.

You will have better luck getting a good price with the mods when selling privately.
