Default Wheel flare advice please

Hi all, please help me out here. I'm putting new 33 inch MT and black steel 5 bolt wheels on my 07 jku. I've ordered the tyres and wheels and they're coming today but the place I ordered them from said my standard flares weren't going to be good enough and that I'd get busted by the boys in blue.
What kind of flare kit do I need. I've already spent 1600 on the tyres and wheels so the cheapest and definitely the easiest to fit to keep me out of trouble would be great? Any links would be great too.

The cheapest option is the generic 1 or 2 inch rubber flare extension available from ebay. Personally I think they look like rubish but they get the job done and would be pretty easy to fit.

DBOR and Jeep Konnection have a decent range of flares. Most of them are direct swap overs you just remove the flare and liner screws undo the indicator connection and pull the flare out of its snaps and then snap the new one in and put the screws back in.

I think elephanaki is trying to sell some reasonable flares in SE Melbourne if you have a look in the for sale section.

Depending on the offset you may still be "in trouble" if you chance upon a knowledgable trafic cop but at least having them covered you won't draw the trouble.

As OzRick mentioned. To get you out of trouble you can get the rubber strips that go onto the outside of your flares. They look aweful but will keep you legal.

The next step up is inside flare spacers from Uneek. You will need to do a little bit of drilling into your body and will also need a nutsert tool.

After that, it can get quite expensive.

Hi mate, I'm not sure of the offset? The tyres are LT285/75R16.
