Patrol, Your sunday trip was at about 15L to the 100KM. Which is an average fuel economy figure for the petrols.
Air filter unless it is really really blocked won't help with much, fuel efficiency wise. And going super careful on the throttle can be counter-productive as well, due to the efficiencies in the gear box.
Better fuel economy comes from making sure you have correct pressure in your tyres. Most A/T and M/T's can be run at around 40 PSI ONROAD(Check the profile of your tyre and see how it looks when inflated). If you are doing short trips where the car is not 100% up to temperature, the engine will run slightly rich reducing economy.
If you are mainly doing stop start work, keeping weight down will be your biggest saving grace, It takes more energy to move a heavy car up to speed. If you are spending a lot of time moving less stop start (ie. down the motorway/orbital) Keeping wind resistance down as that is always out there meaning the car has to push more air meaning more fuel.
And Last but not least, E10 has slightly less energy compared to standard 91.
