Default Diesel tail shaft

Hey would a VM tail shaft in in the 4.0 XJ or am I correct in thinking they would be a different length?

The vm tail shaft will have different sized unis to your diffs, but you can get adapter uni's.
Would be amazed if it fits as the manual gearbox is shorter than the auto.
