Default GoPro tips and advice?

I think you're right Grahame, pretty sure I used the site too. The similarities in appearance got me confused. So anyone tested it yet? Hope the lag is reduced. The Sony action cams have very little lag in comparison.

Picked up my HD Hero 3 Black edition on Friday night. Picking up a couple of 32gb class 10 micro SD cards tomorrow.

Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket batteries with their GoPro 3?
I'm looking at this package on ebay as a great option.

I've read of people being happy with the Wasabi batteries. There's a link to them at the bottom of your link

I have had four GoPros currently two Blacks
I have had heaps of issues with both my hero 3 blacks, Freezing, turning off and wifi drop outs. I used Sandisk class ten cards - tried 64s and 32s to get the same issues.
Finally I ordered the Samsung high speed 32 cards and I have no more issues.

Sandisk are crap if you are running 1080 60fps with protune on, it simply cant handle the write speed required.

I run with 1080 60fps so I can get smooth slow mo when I need it.
I also run with Protune on so I can colour balance in post editing without over saturating.

So that would definitely explain my freezing issues then. I best order some Samsung cards
