Default Patriot Tires

I'm getting near the end of life with the Continentals that came with my Patriot after only 25k km's. While the tires have been great handlers and I have no real gripes with them.....durability is a disappointment. I used to run Goodyear's on my previous 4WD's and typically got about twice that mileage out of them. Any Patriot owners on their second or third set want to recommend something besides Continentals?

Wow, thats pretty pathetic! I have never heard much good stuff about Continentals, but 25k nearing ending of wear life is not real good.

Did they get regularly rotated? Wheel alignment ok? Are they worn right across the tread or just outside edges / centre etc. My Goodyear Wranglers that come stock on the JK Wrangler are up to 35k now and about 50% worn.

Conti's are made for a more European climate. Cool and wet weather and because Europeans don't generally do a lot of miles they last them for a few years so they are happy.
They are definitely not a tyre for our climate and driving habits.

Yes, these tires are wearing evenly....were rotated once at 12000 k's during the service. When I say nearing end of life - I'll likely squeeze around 28,000 out of them before they get the flick - but that is still pretty dismal. About half of my driving has been on pretty ordinary country roads (maybe that's what wore them down)...and a minor amount of off-road work. Looks like Goodyear's are still the go...
