Default Finally got my Jeep. Pro’s and con’s.

Finally got my Jeep last Saturday. 2015 Silver Laredo 3.6 petrol. Absolutely love it. Coming from a 2003 Holden Crewman with 360,000 kms on it I’m now driving pure luxury. Pro’s are many - comfortable, quiet, POWWWWWWEEEEEEEERRRRR (sorry, quoting Jeremy Clarkson) and fuel economy. I know a lot of guys say these are gutless and thirsty, but compared to my old car it’s a different story. Con’s - not much foot space for the driver. And that’s it. Best rig I’ve ever bought. Even the wife and kids love it. Very happy (can’t you tell?)

Just be careful, you may find a serious ache in your jaw for months to come, if not years from smiling so much as you drive down the road............

I have a smile on my dial when I drive down the road...

Congrats on the purchase, gutless and thirsty they are not. My 2016 3.6 tows the camper much more comfortably than my previous 2005 4.7. The eight speed trans makes all the difference I think.

I forgot, there’s one more con. Foot operated park brake. But I suppose I’ll get used to it.

You will get used to it. I hated it at first, never think about it now.

I love the foot operated park brake.
Like you, I just love the Grand, I'm still new in mine (few months) and don't miss my old Grand at all 😁
