You can also flip it so the unit sits upside down and "above" the swaybar rather than below as it currently does so that it doesnt fall below the waterline or get hit with high pressure spray when washing as easily.

Thanks mate. I'll have a look. I never thought about the high pressure spray before. I guess that's one area you'll need to exercise some restraint with it...

Hi
As already told here several times unfortunately: with/without warranty JK SwayBar it's prone to die!
I've replaced 2 sways under warranty, heavly protected and resuscitated the third but SmartBar mighty product was as PITA as told on all Jeep Forums and refuses to live! THE One&ONLY, so far, and most efficient conclusion (ie solution) or
Cure = AEV Procal + EVO NoLimits Swaybar Disconnect ! I could say that after having applied that treatment "it feels good"!

Ps: have a look what a blody sway bar dead with a pin under short circuit within the sway muffler may cause:

And a pic to remember:

Yup that was me and my video Recall to NHTSA including my complaint experience!
Spare your nerves my friendly advise and cut it off!

Later Edit:
Found an older topic here on the same matter:

Doesn't work with some model front bars... definitely not ARB anyway.

Mine last two sways were behind & protected by the front ASFIR 4x4 Alu skid plate and still died! The last one (third) was several times cleaned and sealed as much I could but died suddenly as well! My first sway took away also the stock Optima! Luckly the dealer replaced both (sway+optima) under warranty! Huh!
