Default Wombat State Forrest

Heading out to Wombat SF next Sunday, just wondering what tracks are like. I played around Lederberg once but found this less exciting. What part is the better one, west of blackwood or north between trentham and Woodend. Any pointers would be helpful.

I know, got a guy going with me who works for DPI. His job is track inspection and repair. He should know the closed tracks.

Hope you like mud! There isn't much else thats challenging out that way from the few times I was there.

Yes there is plenty of mud, to find the fun stuff that is less muddy and still a challenge you just need to look a little harder!

What area is recomendet? Tracks? Sections? Picnic areas. I'm okay with mud and bog holes. as long I get out somehow. got winch and recovery gear......
