Looks pretty. Also looks pretty easy. Thanks for sharing.

Could be just perfect for my first EVER run in my own 4wd and first ever run for the brand new JEEP!!!

Is there somewhere to get lunch up there or is it a bring a picnic lunch type deal?

Cheers

Thanks Stephen!!!

I am hoping to get out to something a touch more challenging with a group off here or Brisbane Jeep club, after that! Am keeping an eye out for what's going on.

Loving my Jeep big time. Just got to get it dirty!!!

I'm heading on a weekend trip up to Double Island point via some inland 4WD track my boss knows on the 22nd June and were popping into Harry's Hut for lunch I'm sure we wouldn't mind another Jeep for the trip.

I'm also planning on going on a couple of the Brisbane Jeep club trips as it says you need to do before you can join.

Cheers Stephen

Mate, Just noticed tonight, Brisbane Jeep Club are doing Cityview 4x4 park Saturday 22nd. Just a one day trip. I am working nightshift and just cruising the forums haha! Here until 6am. So, plenty of time to check every online forum there is!

My wife isnt at all keen on anything involving camping. Her idea of camping is a 4 star hotel. So, I will have a few problems getting her in to anything thats an O'Nighter

Sounds like a good trip though. Looked up Double Island Point and looks great. Wonder we could do the trip up one day and come back?

IF we dont go on the 22nd then I will keep it open for the Jeep clubs Cityview 4x4 trip, if I end up at Double Island point I will note how long it takes and see if you could do it in a day run.

thats not exactly right. Condamine Gorge starts at the Head. the track doesnt cross the Condamine River at all. that is Teviot Brook that you cross and it feeds into the Co damine River. the River runs Through Kilarney.
