Default Rear diff lock wiring

2014 JK Rubicon.

Playing on the trails over X-mas we managed to get a branch hung up in the under body dragging. Many times actually, but this one hooked into the cables that control the rear diff lock and ripped them apart.

The cables arent damaged just pulled off. Ill get an auto electrician to fix it but wanted a diagramme or photo or instructions. Cant find any.

Thoughts? Or better, can someone point me to where I might find instructions?

Ha...... had exactly the same happen. Bugger hey ?
Mine actually took the wire right off at the plastic fitting on top of the diff.

I've rewired mine using a gland on the diff and a sturdier cable ( ABS line ) with breakaway plugs on top. Also used a flexible stainless steel wire between the diff and chassis with the new wires tied to it.

It will take a fair bit to pull this out but used cooper crimp lugs (electrical connections ) on the SS wire so that it can breakaway on the limit.

The Yellow/ White is the locker solenoid + with the black being ground.
The Yellow/Tan is the locker switch in and the Dark Blue / Yellow is the switch return

Fuse 52 provides power.
