FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, camper loaded, ready to roll early tomorrow, Jeep wouldn't start for her to go to work this morning, air in fuel line, gggrrrrrrr, fuel return bypasses filter so it's got to be the filter somewhere, replaced O ring on fuel line the other day, gave it a big hit and she fired up. No spares left so get new filter, replace it and it had better not leak. I wonder if MB would have a fuel line on the shelf, don't care on shape so long as it has the end fittings that fit.
So off to town with a postive outlook and stop at Dan Murphys on the way home
Will have smile on face late this arvo or box of matches in hand, missus wouldn't be happy to go on hols with camper behind old Toyota 2WD work ute.

Appears all is good, missus had no problems this arvo, no air in lines now, so chucked the new filter in the back, locked and loaded and ready to roll in the morning.

Also updated "Everything 2.7" with a RYCO fuel filter number, not on any listings but the Z670 is the correct one, bought one today.

Default leaking trans

Got trans oil in the carport , looks like it's coming from the sender unit & 2 places around the pan , looks like they may have overtightened or pinched the gasket at last service. Thought's anyone ??

It tends to leak out of the electrical plug and wicks down the side of the pan. Very hard to pinch the gasket and ditto for over tightening. The bolts are only. 6mm thread into ally, rather than over tighten they are more likely to just strip. Plug leaking is common Merc issue but a replacement socket is about $20.

Have to see if REPCO have them in stock.
Where's that post you did on them fester ??
Took some pics of the globe and will add a section to 'Everything 2.7' on all the lights when I get some pics of the front ones sorted. Checked out the NARVA listing and looks like it's a Narva 47557 can get a yellow one as well (4755.
Got a Narva replacement the other day myself from Autopro .

Be aware the dealership replacing the plug will be significantly dearer than that and even just buying the socket from Jeep will be dearer than buying it from a Mercedes dealership. But do get them check the gasket and bolts just in case seeing as they touched it last and not that long ago.
