I like the carpeted box/sub, great job! Was it difficult to wire up that amp with the stock stereo?

Did you manage to get the guage needles off somehow to do this, I tried taking them off with no luck for fear of breaking them.

Not with this amp as it supports high level input from OEM Head Units etc.

I'm getting about 135dB out of that box. Considering the size of the 4 door cabin and that it's only 1 x 12" subwoofer I'm quite happy with that.

But I've been doing this sort of stuff for over 12 years so it's second nature to me

Well nothing physical to the JK but was taken for the day yesterday by EFS and 4WDTV for some filming and some offroad capers. Will have to see the future episodes to see what they did with it?

install looks clean. good work.

135dB sounds a bit high though. sounds like it's above the threshold of pain.

Yeah...different dB thogh. It's SPL dB not the common "noise" dB you have your picture linked too. SPL stands for Sound Pressure Level and that's what a subwoofer creates. It's basically a pump moving air around and creating "pressure".

Put it this way. My windscreen wipers are dancing around with the beat of the bass in my Jeep
