Default Clicking Noise front end

Hi Guys

Got a clicking noise front end. I am no mechanic so i took a photo Is this the CV Drive axle Shaft. I looked under the jeep banged on them and they are quite loose especially driver side. i can grab hold and have a bit of movement.
If due for replacement cause of this where best to purchase US or through Australia. Is it an expensive job also so anything else be replaced at the same time
This is a jeep cherokee kj 2005 3.7L with a 2" lift

Found a place in Brissy called Australian CV joints anyone used them

Thanks for your wealth of knowledge

Well after going to numerous 4WD shops including Jeep trying to resolve this clunking issue, went to Australian CV Specialists at Springwood. Within 1 hour had sorted the issue a loose nut on suspension which was in a hard too location. They made their own tool to tighten up and presto no more clunking. Cannot praise them enough, they did in 1 hour what multiple well known jeep establishments could not do in 6 months, plus the money spent on parts I prob did not need.
Good on you guys

I think I may have the same problem. Have a 2007 limited 3.7 with 2" lift. When the front end gets unloaded and loaded there is a loud clicking sound that sounds like its coming from the top of the shocky tower. It's getting worse. Can you let me know where this nut is.
Thanks

That sounds like a possible broken engine mount...

4WD shops in Australia, in particular the ones that specializes in Jeep, don't have a clue in general. It gets worse if you try to deal with the retailers that just sell jeep parts, it's like they have never heard of google and the ability to check the BS they sprout quickly and easily......

The boys at springwood CV specialist are very good, had several things made by them in past.
