My 98 has CC. my 01 does not. The controls are on the center of the steering whell like the petrol ones.There was discussion on here about how to fit a few years ago. You will need the steering wheel center with the controls and you may need a dealer to turn on the control with a DBR11 , good luck finding a dealer that knows how to! IIRC the person on here just put the controls in and it worked.An after market CC will not work well as there is no cable. You would need to some how connect the unit up to the peddle.

Where is the actuator/servo located on your '98 pls?

There is no actuator/servo as the control is all done electronically.
That is what is done with drive by wire engine control.
Some how in the brain box (ECU) it overrides the signal from the peddle.
That is why you need to have the program turned on with a DBR 111 or 11.
