I saw some on eBay from Safari. Whooping 500 bucks for a piece of plastic. I saw some cheaper models but from overseas and then you have the problem that it might be the wrong side. I am considering to build one on my own. Since I have flares attached, these would not fit anyway.

It’s not just the plastic you’re paying for, it’s also the technology behind it, the R & D, flow testing etc. But yes, they are expensive.

Airflow in Victoria do a great one, available for both V8 and diesel models. It’s a shame their new air box never eventuates, it would have been nice to get rid of the OEM air box. That’s the part that I am looking into replacing.

Hmmmm interesting, I've thought about the airbox myself but the shape of the hose from the manifold makes it difficult.

It does, but I’m planning to replace that too. I’m over near Springwood if you want to catch up one day.
