Just returned from Shark Bay including Francois Peron National Park. No problem in sandy, rutted tracks- Michelin to 18psi and sand mode on.(not necessary though as I forgot to select it on the return trip an did the lot in Auto without any problems). Did a steep rocky hill to test hill ascent mode... No problem. Hilux before me struggled.

Carnarvon Gorge
Just spent the last week of school holidays at Carnarvon Gorge.
Great trip, still as impressive as it was 15 years ago.Paul Mac

Just returned from our first big off road adventure in the deep end on Fraser Island, minus one front lower spoiler and one of the plastic underbody plates as we have no lift. Other than that we went everywhere my mates tricked out Landcruiser did.... Just a bit slower.

Walked out of the gym and it was looking so sexy I just had to take a photo to show off the new tint!

Hi David,
Heading up to Fraser on Saturday in my 07 WH and in company with my mate who has a 2014 Laredo with the quadra lift option, we rent a house at Orchid Beach each year.
Anyway from your 2nd photo am I correct in saying that was taken up at the Cape ? If so how did you find getting through Ngkala, was it soft as ?
We go up every year during the second week after the school holidays and last year it had been ripped up big time everyone was getting bogged, still running on highway pressures, consequently there were line ups each side so we gave it a miss...a bit annoying as we get up there for a days fishing each year. Hoping the rain earlier this week has settled it.
Good to see you're finding the Jeep keeping up with the Landcruiser, my mate was a big Nissan fan and after years seeing what my WH easily does in the soft sand he has changed allegiances and is now a dedicated Jeeper

Hi. No, we didn't go all the way up, ran out of time. That photo was taken near Eurong. However, Indian Head and Waddy point were no problem despite the really soft sand and lots of traffic. Guys we were with said it was the easiest he'd ever been thru... maybe we were just lucky.
15psi even on my low profile 20" rims did the job all week.

And Orchid Beach is glorious. There were a few turtles around which was a bit special. We'll be going back, with a bit more suspension !!
