man and the way print media is going there'll be even more printers outa work as the publishing industry sheds staff.

BlueStar eh? they used to supply all of our stores (Vodafone stores) with the merchandise, printing etc..

I served my time as a compositor (those in the game will know), Computers killed that trade.

The printing industry will eventually fade away

It will be a long time before that happens but things will certainly change, only way to survive is to keep up with technology. The gap between big and small printers will widen and all the midsized will be bought out / close shop or cut back to being a small printer again. On top of that were all expected to turn work around like the instant printers do... if we don’t some other printer will. Way too many printers in Sydney and not enough work.

Vodafone.. my brother in law works for them (in chatswood). He seems to like it over there.
