Hello Jimmy,

In order to support my request to register my 1995 4-cyl YJ in New Zealand, I am trying to find information to support the following statement:

"Therer were no RHD YJ Jeeps officially manufactured, but a few were converted from LHD to RHD by Chrysler to test the Australian market, and being a success the TJ was manufactured in RHD to sell in Aussie, NZ etc etc"

Also, I am trying to support claims that this jeep is a collectors item, and a high performance vehicle. I can do this simply by pointing to articles in motoring magazines which imply or state these claims.

I did not know that I would have such trouble registering the vehicle when I brought it over. But, if I cannot, it is costing me far more than I can afford.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Greg

Yes there were 4 or so YJ that jeep australia converted as samples. I spoke to the guy who was involved a few years back. Send an email to Jeep Action magazine, they will know who to talk to

Sent from my dieing HTC Un-Desire half smart phone
