Default Don’t hold back

I just witnessed the new Jeep advertisement on TV.

Ummm, it kind of sux really hard.

I have enough trouble deflecting the sling and arrows from my friends who don’t drive jeeps. So, Just as I am starting to turn their perceptions. Jeep Australia go and release this, clearly Americanised, advertisement. WTF.

Comments.

who cares what your friends think.

the advertisement is quite clever, like most of the chryslerAU advertisements. they have managed to touch on why alot of people buy a modern Jeep - they want (the buyer) to try and feel like they're young again and the advertisement invokes a sense of this.

A sales person needs to concentrate on what sells vehicles. Jeep is a brand associated with fun (and fire). People buy a Jeep to have fun because they like fun. The advertisement invokes a sense of fun (and throws some fire in too).

I think the add appeals to it's target audience quite well, and love the use of older Jeeps, bush scenes and fire dancing.
