Can’t seem to find any info, but does anyone know when we will see the MY19 Cherokee in OZ? In the market for a new vehicle and am set on a Trailhawk, have plans for a caravan and some soft/off-roading I want to do. after a couple of features that the current model doesn’t have. Mainly CarPlay (got stung with last cars maps being out of date within 18months of buying and wanting to charge almost $600 for an update).

Older models still have not even had a map update available since launch, at any price!

This is exactly why CarPlay/Android auto is high on my list of must haves this time around.

Really wish that they car makers would just use map data sourced from google/apple/microsoft/nokia that could be accessed either over mobile data or as a download on to an SD card that you can upload to the car.

Join the jeepcherokee forum and read about what people in the US think of their 2019 model. Most appear happy some are reporting AA issues with uConnect but not a lot. Hopefully any fixes will be applied by the time they export them.

Had been keeping an eye on that forum, loving the look of the refresh overall looks like a lot of small refinements, hopefully any issues with uconnect are just a software fix and they are baked into our models.

Wish there was a proper way to lift it without potentially throwing it out of alignment, not that I’d go stupid but think it suits an extra inch and a bit but some of the stuff I have been reading I’m hesitant.

Yeah, not convinced with just spacers and the effect on CV alignment. Some are offering 4" lifts !
I'd love one of the expedition one bull bars though.

I'm not sure why they've dropped the Diesel from the Cherokee line up. Especially as its the default in the Compass Trailhawk.
