OK i cant help much with the front end as i built a front bar to accommodate safe recovery points and i have not seen much that looks that good for the front either.
Do you have a tow bar to attach a hitch receiver recovery point ?
At one stage i did not have a tow bar so i attached a couple of large (truck ) recovery hooks to some 100 x100 x10 angle iron and bolted it into the tow bar mounting bolt positions using 10.9 grade bolts, it was over kill for sure but that's how i like to do things , the back of the jeep was coming off before any recovery point was.

Google is your friend. Don't just bolt them in. They'll need bracing as well dude...

Sorry Kirk, my main concern is if he gets it wrong as happened from advise on another vehicle brand forum (not Jeep) a few years ago. A passenger riding in the back seat of the recovery 4x4 was killed when an incorrectly fitted recovery hook becoming a missile and went through the rear window. I'm personally an a bit edgy as 30+ years ago I had a guys non-rated/standard "D" shackle punch a hole in the rear door on my Landcruiser. It was unfortunate because I wasn't running the recovery, I was the mug in front on him in the convoy and I trusted the guy running the recovery to do the right thing.
I sent a PM yesterday to him (& he has replied)to contact me by phone as I can't and won't advise on an open forum because of legal implications if I or he gets it wrong.

Cheers, AL

Thanks Al i think its better giving someone help to do the right thing the right way .Rather than being under pressure to fit recovery points and just banging them on and hope for the best so they can meet requirements to go on a trip .

Yeah, I was horrified when I bought the white XJ because someone had fitted a recovery hook to the mounting bracket on the aluminum nudge bar with 12mm galvanized coach bolts.....F%#K accident waiting to kill someone
