There have been been a number tests done on the efficiency etc of K N air filters. A couple done in proper labs who specialise in such tests.Each time OE filters came out on top.My 2010 WH came fitted with a KN filter,checked intake pipe after the filter always dirty ,changed back to good brand OE type filter ,intake pipe remains very clean.!

& this is why you never see people with earth moving equipment like dozers/scrapers/graders fitting K&N. Cat will void your warranty if you fit K&N.

My son had an RX7 turbo with a KN fitted.I told him to take the K off he it didnt listen.Blew the motor.The rotary engine rebuilder he then went to then told him the same .Rotarys do not like the slightest amount of dust etc.
