Maybe it's worth paying a bit more for the 2.8?
The CRD engines were as follows;

1st release, 2.5lt CRD (only manual) 105Kw 343Nm
2nd " " " " , 2.8lt CRD (auto only) 110Kw 360Nm
3rd " " " " , 2.8lt CRD (auto only) 120Kw 400Nm
(Variable Geometry Garrett Turbo)
This latest edition is has just been released as a manual as well. It would be an excellent vehicle to drive as it has 4.10 gears *drool*

These engines are the Italian VM Diesel's. The new KJ coming out late 07 has a new 2.8lt CRD Turbo, but made by Detroit Diesel instead. It is 136Kw and 440Nm from memory....wow......

Thanks CRDSTU,
You wouldn't happen to know the years for the releases would you?

Default "06 Ltd"

I drive and '06 Limited. Great handling, wonderful daily driver ( extremely stable particularly in the wet in "full-time" 4wd) and handles mild to medium off-road extremely well.
The Limited comes standard with slightly larger diameter rubber (1"), so as supplied this can make a difference as you start to experiment off road.
Extremely comfortable and to my memory, the only car my wife has got into when collected and said "we'll have another one of these, please" !! .... and she's no car person.

Default jeep kj 02-03 model 3.7 limited

Just bought a jeep kj 02-03 model 3.7 limited. Is it a good and reliable car. So far not havingany problem with it. It is on 99400 kms when I got it and in very good condition. Very clean inside and out. I just found it a bit much on petrol. Tnx for any feedback.
