Default Hydrolic cooling fan

Hi All
Question - if the temperature is at the relevant temperature (super hot) will the fan stay on when the engine is stopped?
Also, watch a YouTube on these fans it was said you can't buy replacement solenoids
True?
Thanks

Don't know about the solenoids.

The hydraulic fan works with pressurized power steering fluid pumped by power steering pump which is powered by the serpentine belt and the engine. So it will not work when engine is stopped.

I know the fan does not work because you can test the operation using the Wj diag pro.
My real use is that it appears to boil even when the temp gauge says 90 - 95 deg.
The boiling happens several minutes after I stop. This led me to believe I have leaking head gasket and the system is being pressurised.
However if was the case I would expect the "boil over" would happen at even lower temperatures.
Any thoughts?

This sounds like heat soak.
If you let it idle for several minutes after you stop, does it occur?
