GMC power tools. Killed a grinder running it for about 15 minutes on a hot day over Christmas. Can't find receipt in a hurry so go to buy another and decide to get 7 power tool GMC set - grinder, hammer drill, sander, jigsaw, stud finder, electric screw driver, and something else which I forget at the moment for about $95.

Killed grinder on second use. Blown motor same as first.

Killed hammer drill on first use running circular saw through corrugated steel. Blown motor. And I was trying to use it intermittently so it wouldn't get hot.

Note to self. GMC tools are for 2 minute bursts or winter use. They just get too hot in summer after about 10 minutes and self destruct

If you're after good cheap power tools look at the Ozito brand, I've used my angle grinder to cut back rock so I could build a retaining wall. Ran it for up to an hour with at the most a few minutes break every 4 or 5 minutes. This was in the middle of summer. It even came with spare brushes for the motor. Of course this wasn't the perfect tool for the job but with a 3yr warranty I figured I'd give it some hell a few days after I bought it

Gildo,
Zose bolts were FULLY rounded - no metriec wench would have held it.....Vise grips the only real solution (& of coruse worked a treat).

Next recommendation - anyone that's used a hole saw much will know that the heavy load and low speed is hell on electric drills - well having just purchased and air-drill I have a new favourate tool......Ya can drill & drill and the thing NEVER gets hot - love it......

you need a nice slow speed to cut with a hole saw and cutting paste otherwise you just kill hole saws you need a drill with the two speed gearbox up front
you can get a pretty good ryobi for about $100 mine never gets hot
unlike the bosch one I use at work The ryobi has cut a lot of big holes with hole saws up tö 7"
