I've been looking for somewhere to mount my ARB compressor, and finally settled for a spot under the bonnet. Started making a bracket and fitted it up to see if it was going to work, if it is successful I will remove it to sandblast and paint it, I will probably put a brace on it from the rear corner up to the strut brace.
the wife has already told me I have to get something done with the exhaust as it's to quiet
haha! she's a keeper!
Nice car by the way. I had the same thing happen when I bought my wj last year. Was checking out patrols and cruisers and then you sit in a grand and just can't go back to crappy interiors and basic electrics of the Japanese cars.
I finally got the uhf in and working, I removed this from my JK before I sold it, fitted the main unit under the drivers front seat and the hand piece to the dash where its out the way but easy to reach, the aerial is on a temp mount atm on the side of the front guard, when I get a front bar I will move it.
