giant bikes are such good value component wise, i just have 2 sets of wheels and swap rear clusters between them for road/bush, i bought a set of cheap lights, but its to dark out here at night, so i now run 2 sets of blt firewire 4.0's, and a 4 watt led helmet mount, maybe a little overkill. but better safe that sorry

Since we're talking about fabbing and bikes and lights and stuff..........
I used the ideas in this site http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/r...DIY_Lights.htm to make up the lights for my camper trailer. I used mr16 led lights instead but it might interest you.

A guy on 4wdMonthyly forum selling bike with carrier....couldn't get pics to work but you may be able to email him to get pics..

that first one with the cr is exactly like what im making, had some 2.5mm sheet bent up into a channel for the bike to sit in, and as the ramp for the front wheel to stop against, just have to find some 2" box for the drawbar i have some other box section to use as tie points and some renforcement
