Default Number plate mount position?

Hi All,

I fitted a second ARB bar to the front of my TJ.

Where have others mounted their number plates and how? Have you use a special bracket, drilled holes, flip-able cover over winch hole?

Thanks in advance,
Brad

While I have your attention, anybody ever bought one of these?

I get emails from this bunch all the time. Ive read mixed reviews, most complaints are on servicing. My question is more so around how well they perform for the $$$ you spend?

I had the same issue with my RR XHD front bar, so bought a fairlead roller (even though I don't have a winch) - this fairlead also has holes to mount spotties

Then got a clip on license plate mount

Here's a pic on my TJ \/ \/

Probably overkill, but I attached it with some wire thread in case it fell off - this was not necessary as the clips on the rollers are very, very firm. But I suppose the wires would deter theft as well.

Are there no issues with bending the plate? Just wondering if anyone has had issues with police with that?

Its only a slight bend. Ive been pulled over a few times with it like that and nothing was said. Technically there may be an issue but its very low on the priority list.
