BRISBANE JEEPERS - Australia Day Weekend

May be a little late, but i thought that i'd let everyone know that we're headed up to Cooloola to camp on the dunes from Friday Morning (23/2) to Monday (26/2).

For anyone who hasn't been there, you're missing a good weekend...perfect wide beaches, and nice swimming....plus Hot $1 showers about 15min drive up the beach for anyone wishing to say totally clean. OZ day weekend is always good up there, as there's always people setting off fireworks on the beach every night. There's a couple of good scenic tracks that are just relaxing to drive(hey Jimmyb, remember out Possum Bourne ralleye driving last time?), but there's no hard-core 4x4ing...just a relaxing few days.

We'll be camping about 1km north from the southern end of the camping area. Just look for the black TJ parked out the front. Hope to see a few of you there, if not to camp just for the day, just to say g'day and play a bit of footy or cricket on the beach.

Would love to be there, but got a cricket match on with my mum's boss on her farm. Do the camp over and get pissed around the camper fire again. Same as last year, the pommies and the aussie's go head to head. Last year the pommies won. Got to ever the score....
