Installed a sweet 260mm led bar on on my tailgate of the XJ, it has a built in switch! So now lift the tailgate and turn on the light, great for camping, heaps of light.

I will go to the bearing centre monday see if I can get the bearings, then I will do a write up on haw to repair them if any one is interested??

Took me 30mins to pull it appart.

3.5 inch RE lift, cant wait to have a crack putting it on. Next will be 31's.
Nice lift kit there Blaklisted. Also I have a similar winch but ebay one. It pulled me out a few times while I was away and I loaded it up to the max in a swamp. Only slight prob I see is like you we now have the fair lead brackets sticking out from the bar. I am thinking of cutting mine off but don't want to wreck the powder coat.

Yerr might be an option. It will ceratainly get done quicker. My engineer takes like a week to do a small job. I will call them Wooders.

I looked at rebuilding one but from asking the very question on here it seems not economical enought to bother with, CBC's have them for about $130 now. Someone did post up a pic a month or three ago.

first i thought i didnt tighten up the wheel nuts, then i noticed the disc was still attached to the back of the wheel???

the wheel bearing fell apart, guess you need the axles in to hold the bearing together???
and to think i had been driving this around.

so had to drive all the way back to my house and dig out an old wheel bearing, knew i kept them for a reason

at least now i can see how the bearing are put together.

fun times

Well. That answers my question then..!

I was thinking of driving around with the center and axles out until I can get around to doing the front diff.

Spose not then...
