Thanks for the kind words on the lift guys. At the time I only measured the front from the centre cap on the fender, originally it was 18" and after the lift it was a fraction less than 22" after! Surprised me being a 4 inch gain using an advertised 3.5 inch lift compared to what I beleived was relatively good suspension to begin with. It looked like it was replaced at some point before i bought it. I'm expecting it to settle down a bit though. I'm stoked with the result and the ride, so far well worth the money. I definitely have driveline vibe, didn't get time to make up and install the transfer case drop in on the week end. It will be getting the sye sooner rather than later anyway. Will have to pull my finger out and order the parts for that. I've got the track bar in the original position surprsingly, it shifted about a half inch to the drivers side after the install, but I dont seem to notice any problems with that thus far.

BTW I think the tyres are maybe 235 75 15's off the top of my head. I may be wrong. So close to 29", they probably emphasise the lift a bit.

can you measure again in 2 weeks time ?? one of my mates has a lux with 3" lift and he said it was really high to being with but then it settles after two weeks, would be interested to know whether he was right or not

many years ago I stopped at a RBT on the border in Albury. I had a SA license, Vic plates & was in NSW. The address on the redgo & license was the same. Confused the hell out of the cop. He just said it was a hat trick & impossible so he let me go. Back then, as long as there was no post code on your address, the vic roads computer did not reject an interstate address.

Yes but 40 in Vic is a little different to 40 in QLD, you don't have the humidity to deal with.
I was in Vic many years ago between Xmas and new year, went for a run in the middle of the day in Sunbury, it was 37 in Melbourne at the mtime and didn't break a sweat, 5 days later in Cairns I was sweating sitting still in an aircond motel room and it was only 32 outside!!!

I remember back when I was a kid in the Hunter we would on occassions get days where it would hit 47!!!
