Default CRD turbo resonator delete. Worth it?

Gents,

There's a couple of resonator delete options getting about. Naturally they purport to improve throttle response, HP, your appeal to the opposite sex, etc.

So, has anyone done one and can they confirm they actually do anything? I'm already pretty irresistible, so really only keen on actual performance improvement, and whether the subsequent induction noise increase is annoying.

Cheers,

Rob.

HI ROB

I have a Resonator delete from CB Engineering.
As for power increase it has reduced lag and increase induction noise, i even went back to a factory filter from a K&N as it was a little noisy. i have noticed you dont have lean the the go pedal as much now either.

The only times you hear it really are at low speeds when youve got the power on ie taking off quickly on the flat or going up a rise but cruising around town no worries, i haven't noticed much more noise at highway speeds if any, nothing whist cruising anyway.

I do also have a GDE Tune.

hope this helps.

Heres a link to the one i got.
there are other ways of going about it too ie just a bit of pipe and a few clamps, but i what to keep the factory mounts (it uses the same mounting points as the resonator) and hose clips just in case i ever go back.

Think I'll make one myself.

Anyone have a stuffed kidney resonator that they want to donate?
