not a lot of infrmation has been given here. this bloke has received a fine and an order to have the vehicle towed away. other than his staement that it was a "major vehiclr defect" he hasn;t given any clut to what he was actually charged with, and seems to have skillfuly avoided telling us. somewhere in all of this he must have recieived probably an infrigement notice for the fine and some paperwork for the tow away defective vehicle order. those papers would state what offence he was charged with and probably state the section and act he or his vehicle has contravened. if he comes clean with this information it will probably clear this thing up. the chances are he was in fact driving an unroadworthy vehicle under state laws and just came on here for a bit of a winge against the police who pinched him.

I'd like to know where this side intrusion protection is in the doors. Here's a skin off view showing the crash protection structure.

That is a big call from someone who is as in the dark about the whole story as the rest of us. I don't think it's fair to start slagging people off and making all sorts of unproven allegations on the limited information available to date.

exactly. if the bloke would give the details i suggested above we would all know exactly what he was charged with and why. it would end the whole argument. i assume the police who issued the notice has some knowledge of the state laws and some idea of what they were doing.
