Stealers can track them. We used to be able to but the functionality was removed, and the VOTS is down. Just call them up and ask the operator to put you through stock control. They may need your VIN however.

I'm in no rush though. When they first told me 30/5, I added 2 months in my head, even August. My accessories are already here waiting... Waiting for MCE Aussie Wide Flares still in development. Due in July-October??

Mine's docking at Port Kembla. Whereabouts are you?

I went through something similar when I ordered mine a few years ago. I was told all sorts of bs by the sales bloke. One minute its at the docks being delayed by customs next they couldn't find my order and it never got built, etc. I tried the head office and they were not interested and asked for a VIN which the dealer wouldn't give me. I managed to get the mobile of the dealer principal and I kept ringing him several times everyday and clogging his voicemail. He got sick of me and suddenly it magically appeared at the docks again. Turned out then that when I went to pick it up the following week it was a Sport. The girl who was giving it a final buff realised the mistake. I told them I wasn't going anywhere without the Rubi that I ordered. They told me to take that one instead and drive it until they work something out. I did and two weeks later I finally got it. Ask them for the VIN and if they won't give it to you then it's probably all bs.

I have the vin numbe4 already so that's all good. I'm located in Melbourne.will be interesting to see if the car does turn up like they said next week. Getting frustrating considering the sales man said initially it would be a 2-3 month wait

It should be OK then. If still in doubt, head office should be able to confirm if it is here from the VIN.
