I've removed the rear seats and installed a frame and flat floor to which DRIFTA fit a full length draw system for me. Very nice unit too. I dont want the tire up any higher than it sits now and preferably lower..so some adjustment in the mount itself would be nice. I believe Teraflex and Smittybilt do this..but not the Rugged Ridge ? None of them are cheap but clearly the Teraflex comes in as the most expensive. I've tentatively placed an order but delivery time currently is anyones guess. As is often the case here its 'take whats available'. The Smittybilt should be about $250 plus cheaper but it also looks a lot heavier overall and I dont want more weight than I need. What the actual difference is in kg I dont know. Thanks again.

Don’t do what plenty of other people do and sell your rear seats. You might need them in the future if it needs to be sold and reregistered ! The only annoying thing, I found, is a suitable storage place because they are quite large and heavy.

I got a second hand Teraflex hinge from a wrecker advertising on line. Works perfectly. Asked for all bolts and brackets to be included.
I simply searched for wrecking JK wrangler and looked at photos to see what accessories might be fitted. Got it for half price.

No plans to sell the rear seats or the soft top ..although they are both taking up a lot of room in the garage. Probably be full of mice and mouse nests in the next few months. Checking for fitment to wrecked cars is a top idea.. hadnt thought of that one. I've ordered a Teraflex but delivery time seems to be up in the air. I can bolt the spare on when I'm travelling but I've taken to leaving it off around town as the noise is really distracting..and no doubt not doing the tailgate any favours either.

Wrap your rear set up in some plastic, garbage bags would do, and tape it all up to keep safe from vermin.
