Default Wk my14

So picked up the new Summit yesterday and it is awesome. I loved my WH but it now seems like a truck in comparison. Yes I know it has limitations but it will be fine for my purposes and besides, there was nothing else available and it was an impulse buy!

Anyway, at low speeds there seems to be a lot of lash in the drivetrain unless you're very smooth with throttle transitions. Anyone else experience this?

Hi hills46,
I also have a my14 and yes I did find that issue. However I recently had it service for the first time and there was an update that they did and it fixed my issue, nice and smooth now. Apparently it was a recall update but I wasn't aware there was one until I took it in.

Now wouldn't you think they would apply all known TSB fixes as part of the Pre Delivery given they charge enough for it!!!!!

Cheers. I'll certainly be querying it at the check up next week but yes, if it is an update, why hasn't it been applied already?

Yep, you would reckon that would be sorted previously and you would also think they would contact owners on recalls also. But from what I understand Jeep Aust is pretty crap at customer service. I am still waiting on a new tyre pressure placard from when I bought my Jeep back in November last year. I had the 20" rims switched with the 18's (better ride and cheaper).
