I reckon our reception is poor we lose reception from sunshine coast radio stations about 150 -200 klm north. Sometimes I think about trying to extend that and what would be realistic a extra 100klm ....would it be worth the hassel / cost?

I'm heading to Philip Island next week (apparently there are some penguins there I must see), I'll tune in to 107.5 and report back

Maybe I was wrong with my earlier quote saying I had good reception. I reckon getting reception 150kms away isn't bad at all.
BTW, Sunny Coast stations transmit from a tower near Maleny I believe, so that in itself puts them at the southern end. You need to switch to the unpublished frequencies they use in Gympie if going north.

I'm on Philip Island right now and triple J has been crystal clear from about 40 minutes before Melbourne and on the lsland.
