My 258 motor has a WW stromberg from a 253 V8 on the stock manifold. The Carb itself should be pretty cheap from a wreckers and I put a carby kit through it from Holden Rare Spares for about $34. well thats my 2 cents worth.

manual and PAS HQ-HZ steering boxes fit CJ and FSJ. Bolt straight in. IIRC can also use pitman arm, but I'd double check, it's been a long time......

11" shoes the same as Ford (old Fairlanes through F100's)

Any ideas about getting FSJ shackle bushes? Rubber or plastic- not fussy. I just need to know if I should be looking overseas for replacements. Alternatively has any1 seen/ heard of greasable aftermarket replacement shackle sets to suit the 83 cheros or J20 (Snake Racing style)???

Ta, Luke
