Another thing to check, it might sound stupid, but have the battery load tested.

The Jeep can throw all sorts of weird symptoms, when the voltage drops on start up and it is worthwhile checking the battery.
It is just you said, if you start it and run it, then switch it off and start again there is no problems. This could be because it takes a lot less current to start a warm motor, than a cold one, so you will have less volt drop on start up.
Anyway it is a no cost check worth doing IMO.

Mate, I recently had the red lightning bolt symbol come up on my XH 3.0 and it turned out to be a dodgy fuel rail pressure sensor that was throwing it into limp mode. No other lights though.

Had it scanned this morning.
Two faults shown:
1. 02 sensor has power but no output - is this what yours had NoMates?
2. Internal alarm battery. Does anybody know where this lives and is it likely to cause the fault light?
Thanks again.

Thanks for the sensor location Clarky. The other code it came up with is Intrusion Module (ITM): B1A3C - Internal Siren Battery - Active
