I guess what I was trying to say is I really like the size, independent suspension and engine options, economy, price etc but the only thing that would hold me back from getting one is my concern it wouldn't go everywhere I would want in places like the Victorian high country.

I understand it will never be as capable as a wrangler and wouldn't expect it to be.

Hence slightly bigger tyres would give me confidence to go anywhere. Or maybe the option of a bigger lift. Nothing silly, maybe another 40mm or so.

What is missing from the Jeep model line-up is a vehicle with the KJ Cherokee capabilities and equipment, which is why I'll never sell mine.

My folks had a KJ for a couple of years - I promise you the KL is at least a match in all respects (in Trailhawk form, at least).
