Default JK tyres?

What tyres is every replacing the 255/75/r17 (unlimited 0 tyres with? I want the same size tyre in a good off-road tread But I can seem to find a brand that makes them? And help would be great. Thanks

265/75R17 is standard for most landcruisers prior to 2015 (I think it's 285/65r17 now which is a bit odd) and you will easily find this size tyre in the most remote areas - such as Mt Dare

Another common option is 285/70r17 which I have on mine and only getting a little rub on the swaybar link when off-road

So they are not as high as 255/75?

255/75x17 used to be easy to pick up as a "take off", but Jeep stopped using them a few years ago, switching to the smaller 245 tyres currently used.
I found that you can buy GY Wranglers in that size, but they are very expensive....otherwise, you'll have to switch to a 265 or 285 would be my pick....

I guess the 285s is the go I don't want smaller tyres.

265/75R17 would be a very small amount bigger than the 255 but it will be about as close as you can get without matching the size, and they should be available for much cheaper than anything bigger.
