Unbelievable just how shoddy their work is. Wouldn't trust 'em with a bucket and sponge, let alone a spanner.

If you’re an RACV member member I’d ask them (or Jeep)to tow it to the Jeep dealer that changed the alternator & say “have a look at this damage” - no power steering/alternator running hot
-is that now damaged/risk of vehicle fire/EVIC error messages etc. How about doing the right thing & fixing this for me free of charge!

Cheers

That's the plan. Any issues with ringing up RACV and asking for a tow from home to jeep? Does roadside assist need to try get the vechile going again before they tow? Can i get it towed to jeep or does it need to be a racv mechanic?

Unless you have unlimited tows, I'd be asking the dealer to arrange collection. It's simply their f#ck up to resolve...

Got basic racv roadside assist pretty sure it's unlimited tows within 20kms. So probably just easier i get it there, no way would they agree to that before confirming the issue.

I was actually being literal! Sadly it does happen. I don't trust anyone but me to wash my car. I've always specified 'no wash' when leaving any of my cars for service at a dealer (these days I don't patronize dealers at all).
