Default New 2013 wrangler unlimited

I have been driving Jeep Wranglers since 1997. I currently drive a 2009 2 door petrol manual.

Just wondering, how much better is the new motor in the 2013 wrangler unlimited?

Is there a big improvement in power, economy etc?

Also not too keen on the available colours. It's hard to pick a colour from a brochure. What does the red lobster colour look like in real life? Who has bought one? Are you happy with it?

Why did they stop making the flame red?

I'd love your feedback.
Thanks,
Steve

The new pentastar motor is far superior in terms of performance and a notable improvement in economy but not massively better here, best bet is go test drive one

Don't buy a pentastar to save fuel.....it's not a noticeable difference. But is it worth it for the power and drivability....hell yes! There is no comparison between the two engines IMHO.

Haven't seen the lobster anywhere in Aus so far but I really don't like what I've seen in photos from the US. Billet silver looks very classy.

Head to the dealer and have a test drive, it's well worth it.

I snapped a pic of this Lobster the other day. In person it's quite a good colour, although the Sahara (Overland in Australia) comes with the hardtop and and flares painted as well which is just a bit too much for me. Just follow link for a look see
