i wont be doing that.
artec did tests on what was stronger.
with the stuff they make, i trust their testing.

Rang the local diff specialist who we use through work to straighten bent diifs (insurance work)
Asked about getting the front diff checked and straightened as necessary
Told him what it was for
"Oh that worries me"
Then he tells me i should just put a super 60 in yada yada

Clearly doesnt want my money.

So now im doing it myself

Very slightly bent, about 5 mm in the centre

Bent just past straight and have fully welded the truss also

after making the missing brackets from the kit, i hooked into the rear bumper today







and got an idea of where the spare will sit

now the bits that fill in below the tail light are designed for an update XJ
so they arent even close to being right
not a big deal as i will make some that blend in with my tail lights anyway

this bumper will be going on the trailer and i will be making a copy to go on that will have some more strengthening (although this appears to be quite strong) and a few other changes.
