"Comfy and soft but can take the load"... hope you not after a system that can handle big VARIATIONS in the vehicles load... if so your asking the impossible from ANY spring, unless your happy with big changes in ride height.

You best bet is to fit something that works with the unloaded weight THEN fit rear airbags to carry the added weight variation.

The JK is not a load carrier like a Pootrol or Landbarge, check out is max laden weights etc. If your going to try fit it out as a mini caravan your in for an interesting time.

No no, I mean take the weight of the bar work and winch. I travel for a living so I always pack lite.
With my old 4x4s with bar work, I've always been recommended heavy duty springs and end up with a crap ride. But always with the claim that it'll be better than stock.

Check out my Ride(s)
Default

I am very happy with the ride of the suspension stuff flexy coils, but they are not cheap nor are they a kit.

I have added Bilstein 5100's though looks like they could be a bit softer (Rancho adjustables I have been told are a good match). I also have Synergy front track bar, steering damper flip and extended sway bar links front and rear plus a Teraflex rear track bar bracket and home made bump stop extensions and rear brake line brackets plus AEV front control arm drop brackets. So a bit of a Frankenstein suspension setup but works well.

I'd talk to stu (CRDSTU) he seems to really know his shit when it comes to dialing in jeep suspension

The difference between theory and practice is, in theory there is no difference...

Mate, have a word to Mitchell Bros in Sydney. You cant go past the 4.5" AEV. I have the AEV front and rear bar, with tyre carrier, and 35" mounted on the back. I have an engel and draws permanently mounted, and it is fantastic. If you are in Sydney, coke take a look.
