Default Adios, Goodbye and Thanks Guys.

The time has come to say goodbye gents as I have sold my last XJ and we are retired and have gone back to one car. Both of my XJs were fantastic fun and the help and assistance from the guys on here (Yes Carves, I am looking at you especially) has saved me many dollars and much hair pulling out.

This is a terrific forum where newcomers feel welcome and are not ridiculed for asking what some might think a stupid question and that is a credit to you all. When we have searched the forums and can't quite find the right answer for our particular problem, we are soon put right by one of the many knowledgeable people on line. That is what happened in my case, many years ago.

Thanks again all and I will still do the Jeep wave, even though it will be in the old Merc.

good luck, i to am looking down the barrel of retirement, 3 more years to go,

however i wont be parting with my xj, i had it 16 years now and it wont be going anywhere , even if it ends up just sitting in the shed, thats where it will see out its days

ive already calculated what it will cost to run for the foreseeable future and am factoring that in to by budget in retirement.
