What did he break to warrant a trailer trip home. Looks like you didnt find any of the good bits though.

I understand it was:
  • both front upper control arms are in two pieces.
  • bent tie rod.
  • big dent in sump, bout an inch nd a half in.
  • i think i have also bent the transfer case skid to the point where the g/box has been pushed up against the floor.

What did he do to cause that mayhem? Must have hit the rocks pretty hard!

The yellow JK needs to disconnect his sway bar!

Yep was exactly what Alex said, broken upper's etc...

Nah we got stuck with a Prado and a Pajero who got scared and wanted to turn back... so we had to help them back! then they buggered off once we got out and didn't help us with the TJ!

In all fairness, if we'd kept going we would have still been out there, yeah it was about at the sink hold (me thinks) that we turned around!

and yes yes i know I should have disconnected, by my Quicks are jammed atm trying to fix them....
